-Head Hitting Coach

After an amazing high school career at Albuquerque Academy where Max originally committed to play baseball at Oklahoma State University, Max was a 2nd round pick out of high school in the 2009 MLB Draft and played professional baseball in the minor leagues for the Milwaukee Brewers from 2009-2014. He was an outfielder for 5 years, then was converted to a pitcher in 2014. After being released by the Brewers at the end of 2014, he opted out of signing various one year contract offers from other teams, deciding to hang up the spikes to begin life after baseball.

In his full-time career, Max works in Business & Program Development at Sandia National Laboratories. Previously, max worked as a lead Genius and Manager at Apple inc. from 2015-2021 while going to school full time. He received his Bachelors degree in Economics and Masters degree in Business, both Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico. 

In his free time, Max is an amazing husband and father to his wife and beautiful two young daughters.

Max is HD's head hitting coach as well as spending time on the field with all of our teams.  

-Sophomore Team Head Coach - Infield/Pitching Coach

Trevor attended St. Pius High School and competed in baseball, golf, and football. He was a three-year Varsity Baseball letterman and received multiple All-District utility player awards. Trevor was also a letterman in football, where he excelled and received multiple All-District and All-Metro honors for his play on the Gridiron. Upon graduating from St. Pius in 2018, Trevor received two offers to play baseball at the collegiate level.

Trevor instructed and coached baseball at the MAC/ABA from 2019-2020. He is currently tenured as the Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Cibola High School since the fall of 2021. Trevor is also staffed as Special Education Teachers Assistant at Cibola. He is finishing his Teacher Education degree at CNM and UNM with a concentration in Special Education.

Trevor is HD's Swiss Army Knife of coaching. He excels at pitcher and infielder development and is an outstanding coach on the field for our teams. Not only does he have the best hair on the staff, but Trevor also mixes his understanding of analytics with an old school knowledge of the game to help fast track our athletes' development.
